Zamalek’s manager Patrice Carteron discussed Zamalek’s latest updates for their next match against Al Ahly in the Egyptian Super Cup.

The French manager spoke in the pre-match press conference about Zamalek’s preparations for the game following the team’s victory of the African Super Cup.

“I was able to prepare the team for Thursday’s game because it will be different than the one against Esperance [African Super Cup match] and we must be mentally prepared to win the cup,” Carteron said according to Kingfut.

Also, Carteron discussed his opinion on whether or not he will play the game to seek “revenge” in the Egyptian Super Cup from Al Ahly, especially after being sacked by Al Ahly Following Al Ahly's loss at the 2018 CAF Champions League Final and the team's knockout from the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2018.

“I won’t play the game in order to seek revenge. I want to achieve victory for my team and for Zamalek fans,” Carteron added reporting from Yallakora.

Following Zamalek’s victory in the African Super Cup, the White Knights will be looking to secure their second title in the span of a week.

Zamalek will play against Al Ahly on February 20 in the Egyptian Super Cup at Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
