CAIRO – 7 February 2020: Aston Villa Egyptian winger, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, took his team to Wembley as he scored a late winner against Leicester City to set up a final with defending champions, Manchester City.

Trezeguet’s goal against Leicester won the club’s Goal of The Month award for January.

On 1 March, Aston Villa fans will pack Wembley stands to support their players who aim to achieve the club’s sixth title at the competition.

“Playing against Manchester City is very difficult and exhausting. You feel that you’re up against 22 players on the pitch. Of course, winning the cup with Aston Villa is a huge dream.” The Egyptian winger said.

The Egyptian winger joined the Villans last summer from Turkish side, Kasımpaşa, and since then he established himself as a key player for the team and earned a place in his fans’ hearts.

Trezeguet praised the massive support from Aston Villa fans, saying “They support us at the game if we win, lose or draw. They are always with us. I always want to make them happy and I hope we do lots of times between now and the end of the season."

Aston Villa players’ focus is on the two league games against Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton on 16 and 22 February respectively before shifting their focus to the Cup Final.
