Mahmoud Hassan, "Trezeguet", Aston Villa's Egyptian star, wishes to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which the Egyptian Olympic team qualified for.

"I wish to take part in the Tokyo Olympics," Trezeguet, 25, said on Tuesday through Al-Nahar.

The former Al-Ahly & Kasim Pasa player can participate in the Olympics if coach Shawky Gharib includes him. Every team participating in the Olympic soccer tournament is entitled to include 3 players over the age of 23 years.

Egypt will participate in the championship next July, after winning the African Cup for its players under 23 years.

Trezeguet revealed that he would have left the Red Team early by saying: "I almost left Al-Ahly after 4 years as I did not get an opportunity to participate, but Ali Maher shortened the road to me and signed the first professional contract for LE 15 thousand, and convinced me to refrain from the idea of traveling abroad. "

But after staring in the red shirt and with the Pharaohs, in 2015 Trezeguet made his way to Belgium to play in Anderlecht and then Moskron before moving to Kasim Pasa and from there to the Premier League.

Trezeguet presented a good season with Aston Villa after scoring the goal of crossing the team to the League Cup final, in which he will play against Pep Guardiola men, Manchester City.
