Liverpool are six victories away from the Premier League title

Liverpool are close to winning the Premier League title, after Manchester City stumbled against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham beat home City 2-0 in the 25 round of the English Premier League.The difference between leaders Liverpool and Manchester City widens to 22 points.

Thus, assuming City will win all of their remaining matches, Liverpool will be able to clinch the league title against Crystal Palace in Round 31.

The Crystal Palace match at Anfield stadium takes place on March 21, 7 rounds before the end of the competition.

If Liverpool had done it and had achieved the league on that very early date, it would be a record.
