CAIRO – 18 January 2020: Manchester City granted Liverpool another gift on Saturday as the Blues lost another two points after a 2-2 draw at home with Crystal Palace.

It is another damaging blow for the defending champions as they are now 13 points behind Liverpool who still have two games in hand and will play against Manchester United on Sunday at Anfield.

Crystal Palace new signing, Cenk Tosun, opened the score five minutes before half time after an amazing pass from Gary Cahill.

Manchester City’s response came through their target man in front, Sergio Aguero, who added two goals at the last 10 minutes of the game to give his team a 2-1 lead.

The Etihad Stadium’s fans were celebrating the comeback when Crystal Palace winger, Luis Zaha, decided to silence the stands.

Zaha dribbled two Manchester City defenders and provided a cross that was deflected to find its way towards the back of the net.

Manchester City failed to create chances at the added minutes and the game ended with a 2-2 draw.
