Pyramids FC team repeated their victory against Al Masry in the Confederation Cup, to formally qualify for the quarter-finals of the African competition.

Pyramids FC defeated Al-Masry 2-0 in the fourth round of the first group of the Confederation Cup.

Pyramids FC two goals came through by Eric Traore and Nabil Emad "Dunga" in the 21st and 71st minutes.

Pyramids FC has won 4 out of 4 games in the group stage, and is the only team in the Confederation Cup and CAF Champions League to do so.

Pyramids officially guaranteed its qualification to the Confederation quarter-finals, as the first Egyptian team in the African Championships to do so.

Al-Masry's record of points are six points and they need a single victory to ensure qualification.

Croatian Ante Cacic, coach of Pyramids, relied on Dodo Al-Gabbas as a striker, and was succeeded by Erik Traore, Islam Issa, and Abdullah Al-Saeed.

Ehab Galal, in turn, pushed Austin Amoto into the attack, and was succeeded by Moftah Taktak, Hassan Ali and Amr Musa.
