Al-Ahly will enter a closed-door camp on Monday in preparation for the Egypt Cup tie against Beni Suef on Tuesday.

Al-Ahly resumed training on Sunday morning after a negative rest for a day.

Al Ahly coach Rene Weiler held a special session with his players before the start of the morning training on Sunday, and focused the Swiss coach during the lecture on the demands of his players to close the African file, especially since he is on the way to an important match against Beni Suef.

Weiler stressed to his players that Egypt's Cup is a special tournament in Egypt as there is no chance of compensation, as well as surprises in the first round.

He also stressed the need not to pay any attention for any issues related to the African file or the match Al Hilal of Sudan in the tournament, and focus only on Beni Suef.

Al Ahli's board of directors, headed by Mahmoud Al Khatib, has decided to file an urgent complaint to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after ES Sportive match.

The match witnessed a Red card for Ayman Ashraf in the 13th minute, along with wholesale objections from Al Ahly players and the coaching staff.
