CAIRO – 19 October 2019: Amr Mansy, PSA Women’s World Championship director, revealed on Saturday that 36 International channels will broadcast the competition, taking place in Egypt between 24 October and 1 November at Pyramids of Giza.

The Egyptian Squash Open will be held on the sidelines of the World Championship.

“The competition will be broadcasted on 36 TV Stations around the world and ON Sport have the exclusive rights of the competition in Egypt and the Arab region. 110 players, 64 women and 48 men, from 22 countries will participate in the competition.” Mansy said on Saturday.

The tournaments include the best international squash players, both men and women, such as Ali Farag, the world number one for men and Runeem Al-Waily, the first seed for the women of Wadi Degla, in addition to Nour El-Sherbini, world champion and second seed and Mohammed Al-Shorbaji, the second seed for squash men.

Mansy added “The participating players will feature in the opening ceremony but we are focusing on the closing ceremony which will be held ahead of the final.”
