CAIRO - 10 September 2019: The 16th round of the French Open Squash Championship, to be hosted by the French city of Nantes from September 9 to 14, will kick off on Tuesday with a prize money of $ 70,000 for men and for women.

Wadi Degla’s players Youssef Ibrahim and Nadine Shaheen have succeeded in qualifying to the competitions 16th round.

The men's matches were as follows:

Fares Desouki vs French Benjamin Aubert
Yousef Ibrahim x Zahed Salem

The women's competitions were as follows:

Hania erythema x Scottish Lisa Aitken
Nadine Shaheen vs American Olivia Blachford

Youssef Ibrahim overcame Spanish rival Iker Pagares in two clean runs in a match that lasted 30 minutes and came as a result of runs: 12-10, 11-9.

While Mazen Gamal bid farewell to the championship after the loss to English George Parker 0-2 in a match that lasted 32 minutes and came as a result of runs: 11-9, 11-8.
