CAIRO, 2 September 2019: Zamalek snatched the card to qualify for the Egyptian Cup final by beating Al Ittihad of Alexandria, 1-0 thanks to Mostafa Mohamed.
Zamalek met Ittihad at Ismailia stadium on Sunday night in the Egyptian Cup semi-final. Zamalek wait the winner from Pyramids FC and Petrojet in the other semi-final.
Zamalek entered the game with the following line-up:
Goalkeepr: Mohamed Awwad
Defense: HamdiNagguez, Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel Ghani and Abdullah Gomaa
Midfielders: Tarek Hamed and FerjaniSassi, Ashraf Ben Charki, Obama and Onagem
Attacker: Mostafa Mohamed
While Ittihad Alexandria’s line-up was:
Goal Keeper: Emad El Sayed
Defense: Osama Azab, Mohamed Anwar, Mahmoud Rizk,, El Sayed Salem,
Midfielders: Nour El Sayed, Karim El Deeb, Khaled Ghandour, Ahmed Nabil Manga,
Attacker: Khaled Amar, Emanuel Banaheny
Zamalek dominated the game and wasted a lot of chances thanks to Ittihad’sEmad El Sayed who saved his net, the game lasted till the extra time but Mostafa Mohamed, Zamalek’s new striker, decided the game in the right time.
