I can tell everyone to come to Egypt and enjoy their stay: Iwobi

CAIRO - 13 July 2019: Nigeria International, Alex Iwobi, has been sensational for the Super Eagles during their journey at 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, having led his team towards the semi-finals.

Iwobi, who plays for English giants, Arsenal, revealed that he is enjoying his stay in Egypt and he is impressed with the tournament’s organization.

“This is not my first time in Egypt. It’s a beautiful country and people are just awesome and very helpful. The organization is very good and everyone here is treating us in a friendly way.” Iwobi said.

Nigeria spent the first stage of the competition in Alexandria where they played the group stage games and the round of 16 clash against Cameroon.

They left to Cairo to play the quarter final game against South Africa at Cairo Stadium and they won the game 2-1 and they hope to continue their journey at the competition when they face Algeria on Sunday night.

Iwobi added “I can tell everyone to come to Egypt and enjoy his stay here. For me the AFCON organization is amazing. Everything is available and we are very happy here.”
