CAIRO, 30 June 2019:Wasting points time is over; AFCON enters the last round with hopes & goodbyes.

The third round of the 2019 AFCON starts on Sunday with four matches from two groups. Now it’s time to say goodbye to teams participated in this edition & brought pride to their people.

Burundi vs Guinea
Al-Salam stadium – 06:00 p.m. CLT

In their first participation in the AFCON, Burundi search for achieving anything in this tournament; first victory, first point, or even first goal. This will be against Guinea in the third round of Group B, their last three games together ended by draw.
While Guinea have one point only, two goals and conceded three goals. They are in the third place and hope for a qualification to the next stage.
Burundi’s victory is a must to keep their chances to qualify as a third.

Nigeria vs Madagascar
Alexandria stadium – 06:00 p.m. CLT

Madagascar, which played only two games in the AFCON history, have to be proud of their team as they didn’t lose yet. A draw & a victory against Guinea & Burundi. Four points which may qualify them to the next stage for the first time in their history.
Madagascar may only need to score; one point is enough to qualify them to the 16th round.
On the other hand, Nigeria want to qualify as a leader from this group, they need not to lose against Madagascar to guarantee being the first of Group B.

Zimbabwe vs DR Congo
30 June stadium – 09:00 p.m. CLT

DR Congo have an important game against Zimbabwe to qualify, and to take revenge. DR Congo came second after Zimbabwe in the AFCON qualifiers, also they lost in their stadium.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, played two good matches, but failed to achieve victory. They have only one point, which may be useful if they defeat DR Congo.
DR Congo have one point and hope to qualify as a third from this group despite losing two matches.

Uganda vs Egypt
Cairo stadium – 09:00 p.m. CLT

Uganda, led by coach Sebastian Disabre, seem to be a tough opponent to Egypt this night. Both teams play their last game in the group. Egypt leads the group with 6 points, guaranteed qualifying after victory of DR Congo, and Uganda come second with four points from victory over DR Congo & draw against Zimbabwe.
Uganda have been tough opponent for Egypt recently as both teams played three matches in the World Cup qualifiers & 2017 AFCON. Egypt defeated Uganda two times and lost one time.
