Cairo 7 June 2017: Juventus announced on Wednesday they have reached an agreement with their coach Massimiliano Allegri to renew his contract until 2020.

The Italian coach replaced the former Juventus coach Antonio Conte in managing the Italian giants back in 2014. The team has since won three Serie A titles, three Coppa Italia titles in a row and one Italian Super Cup.

“Side by side, Juventus and Allegri have created history and legend,” a statement by the team read. “Now is the time to make the next step forwards together.”

Allegri took Juventus from dominating Italian football to compete with the biggest teams on the continent. Juventus played in two Champions League finals in the last three years. The team lost the first one against Barcelona in 2015 and the second one against Real Madrid last weekend.
