CAIRO – 18 March 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, failed again to put an end to his goal drought as he could not convert any of the clear chances he had to goals.

Despite the goal drought, Liverpool manager, JurgenKlopp, still trusts his winger and praised his performance during Liverpool 2-1 victory against Fulham.

“It is completely normal and any striker could face a situation like that. I am completely happy with his performance with the team.” Klopp said.

Salah’s last goal with Liverpool was against Bournemouth on 9 February when Liverpool won at home 3-0.

Klopp added “It's our life sometimes you score and sometimes not. He needs a break and I am sure that everything will be fine after the break."

Egypt national team manager, Javier Aguirre, decided to rest Salah during the International duty in March and he is ruled out of Egypt clashes against Niger and Nigeria.

Liverpool returned to the Premier League top and they are leading the table with 76 points, two points ahead of Manchester City who still have a postponed game.
