Cairo – 5 June 2017: Skopje's National Arena Philip II in Macedonia will bring together Real Madrid (Merengue) and Manchester United (Red Devils) on Tuesday August 8 in the UEFA Super Cup match, UEFA’s official website reported.

Qualifying for the UEFA Super Cup are the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League winner Real Madrid and the 2016-17 UEFA Europa League winner Manchester United. Real Madrid won its 12th Champions League title after defeating Juventus 4-1 in the final held in Cardiff. Ronaldo scored two of the goals, Casemiro scored one and Asensio scored the final goal.

Manchester United won the Europa League title after defeating Ajax 2-0 at the Friends Arena stadium in Sweden. Pogba and Mkhitaryan scored the two goals.

Real Madrid won last year’s EUFA Super Cup, and hopes to make this year’s event its fourth-ever win. Machester United meanwhile has won once before in 1991, and is the first non-Spanish club to qualify since 2013, the Worldfootball website reported.
