CAIRO, 23 February 2018: Ismaily’s Macedonian coach, Čedomir Janevski, believes that his team had great push after returning to the CAF Champions league group stages again.

Ismaily was excluded from the competition following their fans’ riot during Ismaily's clash against Club African at the CAF Champions League.

Ismaily was reinstated to the CAF Champions League after a successful appeal against their expulsion.

“We have a group of youth and experienced players and they want to win this game,” Janevski spoke in the press conference prior to CS Constantine match.

Ismaily hosts CS Constantine in the third round of the CAF Champions league’s group stage at 06:00 PM.

“It’s hard to play without our fans’ attendance but sadly we used to play without them in the last five matches due to CAF and EFA decisions,” Janevski added.

The CAF Champions League draw put Ismaily in Group C alongside Congo’s TP Mazembe, Club Africain of Tunisia and Algeria’s CS Constantine.

Ismaily lost their first two games at the group; they lost the opening game 2-0 to Mazembe in Congo, and the CAF decided to grant the three points to Club Africain following Ismaily fans’ aggressive behaviors.
