"Unstoppable” Zamalek defeats Enppi at the League

CAIRO – 18 February 2019: Zamalek defeated Enppi 2-1 on Sunday night at the Egyptian League.

Zamalek continued their amazing run at the competition and reached their 18th consecutive game without a loss.

Zamalek dominated the first half and opened the score after 22 minutes by their new Moroccan signing, Khalid Boutayeb, after he cut the ball from Enppi goalkeeper, Omar Bassam and put the ball in the empty net.

The second goal for Zamalek came seconds before the half time by Mahmoud Abdelmonem known as Kahraba who received a wonderful assist from Ahmed Zizo.

Kahraba found the target to make the score 2-0 at the end of the first half.

Enppi manager, Ali Maher, replaced Amed Shokry by Mohamed Bassiony and the latter granted his team their only goal in the game.

Enppi ad many chances to score but they failed to find the target and the game ended 2-1 for Zamalek.

Zamalek are leading the Egyptian League table with 51 points from 20 games and they are six points ahead of the second placed, Pyramids, who played 22 games.
