CAIRO – 6 January 2019: Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, spoke in a telephone interview with Amr Adib on ON channel about his investment in the Egyptian League through his ownership of Pyramids FC, his new role in the Saudi cabinet, and his love for Egypt and the Egyptian people.

Turki Al-Sheikh started by expressing his love for Al-Ahly, assuring that he had mixed feelings after the victory over the Reds by his club, Pyramids FC, 2-1 in the Egyptian league.

"I have the honor to be any place the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman puts me and I consider it a sign of trust; the entertainment authority is very important. It has been developed in recent years as it received direct attention from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. "

He said that he came as a lover for Egypt and Al-Ahly Club, which he has been supporting for a long time. Also, it was an opportunity to invest in a new stadium for Al-Ahly.

"As president of the Arab Association, I see that Egypt is the great gate through which all Arabs can be gathered," Turki added.

About his dispute with Al-Ahly board of directors, he said: "I was supportive for the board. I had a vision for the football team but they considered it as intervention; if things went right, we would see the stadium working and other top players in Al-Ahly."
