Cairo – 23 October 2018: Real Madrid winger Francisco Alarcón, known as Isco, revealed on Monday that it will be wrong to sack the club manager Julen Lopetegui.

“It would be crazy to change the coach; we have to work and we should throw ourselves forward. It is not only about the coach, and I am confident that together we can have a great season," Isco said on Monday.

Lopetegui is going through the toughest time since he was appointed the club manager last summer, as many rumors linked him with leaving the club following recently poor results.

Real Madrid have had a disastrous run at the League this season as they lost three games, ended two games with a draw and achieved only four victories to end up staying at 7th position with 14 points.

Isco added, “It's not easy to understand this bad run, but we have always known how to come back and have always taken criticism.”

Isco has known Lopetegui since 2012, when they worked together at the Spain U 21 National team and managed to win the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2013.
