CAIRO – 18 October 2018: Egyptian Football Association (EFA) revealed that the Egyptian national team received an offer to play against Brazil next November.

EFA, headed by Hani Abo Reida, has requested an official offer from Brazil to approve the offer and manage the schedule.

EFA announced the date for the match between Egypt and Tunisia in the fifth round of Group 10 of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. It will be on Friday, November 16th at Burg Al-Arab stadium.

Egypt and Tunisia have guaranteed qualifying to the 2019 AFCON, hosted by Cameeron, as both have defeated eSwatini and Niger, 2-0 and 2-1 respectively, in the fourth round of the qualifiers.

Egypt defeated eSwatini 2-0 earlier on Tuesday thanks to Ahmed Hegazi and Marwan Mohsen’s goals. While Firas Chaouat scored Tunisia’s two goals at the game and Youssouf Oumarou scored the hosts’ only goal.
