CAIRO - 25 June 2018: Egyptian swimmer Farida Osman achieved Women's 50-meter freestyle Gold Medal at the 2018 Mediterranean games in Spain.

Osman received another Gold medal at the tournament after earning the Gold Medal of 50-meter butterfly Sunday and the silver medal of 100-meter butterfly Saturday.

Earlier on Monday, Egyptian weightlifter Mohamed Ehab won a Gold medal in the 77 kg weightlifting competitions in the Mediterranean Games held in Spain.

Sunday Winners:

1- Ibrahim Mostafa won the Silver Medal for Egypt in Weightlifting of 69 KG
2- Ahmed el-Asfar won the Silver Medal for Egypt in Karate of 87 KG.
3- Ahmed el-Masry won the Bronze Medal for Egypt in Karate of 84 KG.
4- Egyptian Shooter, Ahmed Kamar, won the Silver Medal for Egypt in Trap as he hit 46 out of 50.
5- Abdel Rahman Sameh won the Silver Medal for Egypt in 50m Butterfly swimming.

The Mediterranean Games hosted by the Spanish city, Tarragona, and kicked off on Friday and will run until July 1.

Egypt participates in the 18th edition of the Mediterranean Games with 170 players (men & women), as stated by the Egyptian Olympic committee.

It is expected that Egypt will compete in 21 of the 33 sports in this edition of the competition; volleyball, beach volleyball/men, handball (Men & Women), bow and arrow, sail, canoe kayak, kayaking, judo, taekwondo, weightlifting, karate, swimming, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, athletics, archery, badminton, table tennis, equestrian, wrestling, and triathlon.
