CAIRO – 10 May 2018: The Turkish club, Galatasaray S.K., showed interest in signing Egyptian winger and Kasimpasa’s player, Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’, next season.

Galatasaray is on the top of the Turkish league table with 69 points; two points ahead of the second and the third placed teams.

It has been reported by Turkish media that the giant club showed interest in signing the Egyptian player in the next summer in a €2 million transfer move.

Reports claimed that Galatasaray veteran manager, Fatih Terim, is interested in including the winger in his squad as soon as possible.

The Egyptian's notable performance in the Kasimpasa’s game against Trabzonspor last Saturday made him man of the match; Trezguet scored two goals and assisted the other three goals for his team. With these two goals the Egyptian raised his goals record in the Turkish league to 16 goals in all competitions to lead the top scorers of his team.

Trezeguet is an Al-Ahly academy product. He joined the club when he was 9 and he joined the club’s first team when he was 19.

He played four years for Al-Ahly before leaving in 2016 to Anderlecht, who loaned him to Mouscron and Kasımpaşa.
