CAIRO – 31 March 2018: Mohamed Salah, Egyptian Liverpool star and Premier League top scorer, led his team to achieve a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the 32nd round of the Premier League.

The first half ended with Crystal Palace leading due to Luka Milivojevic’s goal, which came from a penalty kick in the 13th minute of the game, after Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius intercepted Crystal Palace striker Wilfried Zaha.

Liverpool’s attacking line didn’t show any notable performance during the first half due to the strong defense Crystal Palace players showed, and Salah took only one shot in the 41st minute of the game.

Senegalese international Sadio Mane managed to score the equalizer for the Reds in the beginning of the second half, before Mo Salah scored the winning goal six minutes before the end of the game, temporarily putting Liverpool in second place of the standing table.

With this goal, Salah has reached his 29th goal in the Premier League to secure his title as the top scorer, equalizing former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba’s record as the top African scorer in one season in the PL.

Salah has scored in 21 games this season, equaling former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin van Persie as the top players to score in different matches in the Premier League.
