CAIRO – 5 March 2018: Layvin Kurzawa, Paris Saint-Germain’s left-back, is eager to face Real Madrid on Tuesday in the second-leg of the 16th round of UEFA Champions League.

The challenge of the French club is to overcome the (3-1) defeat of the first leg, an objective that in Kurzawa's opinion is within the reach.

"These three weeks have gone long, we have prepared well for this game and we are looking forward to it," said the left-back.

The French players are convinced that in the ‘Parc des Princes’, their home ground in Paris, they will be able to win the tie.

"We know that we have extra strength at home, the fans are behind us, but we play against Real Madrid and it will not be an easy game, we can do it - go back - and I hope we do it together. It is possible to qualify," explained the French player.

Regarding the influence of Neymar's absence due to his injury, for Kurzawa it should not be an impediment although he recognizes that he will be missed.
"It's a little complicated not to count on him, because he's someone who takes up a lot of space on the pitch, we'll miss him but we're a team and the players who will enter in his place will replace him well, we'll play for him, for Paris, for the rest of France and for all our supporters," said Kurzawa .

On his more than possible substitute, Ángel Di María, the left-back has no doubts. "He is one of the best players, he is confident and whatever he tries, he succeeds, it's good for him and good for us," he concluded.
