CAIRO – 3 March 2018: Real Madrid midfielders Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have very little chance of being available to coach Zinedine Zidane for the next game against Paris Saint Germain next Tuesday in the second leg of the 16th round of the UEFA Champions League.

Both Kroos and Modric didn’t feature in Friday’s training session with the rest of their teammates prior to the game against Getafe in the 27th round of La Liga. Both have stayed inside the facilities to continue recovering.

It is worth mentioning that Real Madrid defender Marcelo and Vallejo participated in Thursday’s training session. The Brazilian left-back could even have minutes on Saturday against Getafe to catch pace ahead of next Tuesday's game in Paris.

The presence of Marcelo is more necessary than ever in this match against PSG, especially in the absence of Modric and Kroos.

Angel Di Maria is expected to replace Neymar on Tuesday, March 6, when they host Real Madrid in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16. The first leg that took place in Madrid ended with a 3-1 victory for Real Madrid.

On the other hand, Paris Saint Germain announced on Thursday that their Brazilian winger, Neymar Jr Da Silva, will be ruled out of the UEFA Champions League game against Real Madrid due to injury.
