CAIRO – 28 February 2018: Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson showed his admiration for the team’s attacking trio – Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane – who led their team to score 103 goals this season.

“It’s been a privilege to play with some unbelievable strikers at Liverpool; to score 100 goals in a season before the end of February is fantastic. I do believe we play the right way, and that neutrals enjoy watching us in terms of tempo, how hard we work and the commitment to attacking football,” Henderson told Daily Mirror on Wednesday.

The trio has scored 65 goals of the club’s 103 goals in all competitions this season. Salah scored 31 goals, Firmino scored 21 goals, and Mane scored 13 goals.

Henderson believes that Salah’s spell with Chelsea had a good impact on his performance with Liverpool this season. He said, “Mo (Salah) has been incredible. I think playing in the Premier League before with Chelsea helped him, because he knew what to expect of the physical demands in English football.”

Liverpool places third in the league with 57 points, 15 points behind the leaders, Manchester City, who still have a game on Thursday against Arsenal.
