CAIRO – 28 December 2017: Austrian West Ham winger, Marko Arnautovic, found the right track with West Ham United in the last few weeks after a long period of struggle since joining the club last summer from Stoke City.

West Ham fans put much hope on their Austrian winger after signing the player at the beginning of the season but Arnautovic took a lot of time to adapt with the style of play designed by the manager, the Croatian Slaven Bilic.

Arnautovic failed to find the net under Bilic’s command but when Bilic was sacked and David Moyes was appointed as a new manager, the former Stoke City winger turned out to be the team’s main star.

Arnautovic scored five goals for West Ham; he scored at West Ham 1-0 victory over Chelsea to secure the three points for his team. He also scored in West Ham 3-0 over his former team, Stoke City. He also scored in West Ham’s 2-3 defeat to Newcastle United and he led his team to a 3-3 draw against Bournemouth, scoring twice in the game.

Moyes knew how to treat Marko to get the best out of him and he is now reaping what he sowed.
