LONDON - 26 December 2017: Harry Kane scored a Premier League record 37th goal in 2017 on Tuesday in Tottenham Hotspur's game against Southampton at Wembley Stadium, toppling a 22-year-old record held by former England striker Alan Shearer.

England forward Kane, 24, headed in Christian Eriksen's freekick in the 22nd minute to overtake Shearer's 36 goals in 1995 with Blackburn Rovers, a tally he had equalled by scoring a hat-trick in Spurs' 3-0 win at Burnley on Saturday.
