CAIRO – 21 December 2017: The Carabao Cup semi-finals draw held on Wednesday put Manchester City against Bristol City, while the other game will be between two London clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Arsenal qualified to the semi-finals after defeating another London club, West Ham, 1-0 on Tuesday night. On the same night, Manchester City defeated Leicester City by penalties to qualify to the semi-finals.

On the other hand, Chelsea defeated Bournemouth 2-1 at their stadium, Stamford Bridge, while Bristol City continued their amazing run in the competition, defeating the reigning champions, Manchester United, 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Korey Smith.

The semi-finals will be played over two legs. Chelsea hosts Arsenal on January 9 at Stamford Bridge and the second leg will be at Emirates Stadium on January 23, while Manchester City will play the first game at home on January 10 and the second leg will be played in Bristol on January 24. The final will be held at Wembley Stadium on February 25.
