CAIRO – 02 December 2017: AS Roma announced on Saturday that the Greek defender, Kostas Manolas, has signed a new contract until June 2022.

“I am very happy to sign this extension. I’m ready to do the best I can, as I always have, for the team. I want to win something with this club,” Manolas said to Roma’s official website.

Monchi, Roma`s sports director, also spoke to Roma`s official website, saying, “We are very pleased. Both the player and the club wanted to reach an agreement, and now we will go forward together, aiming for some important targets.”

Roma has been selling some of its major players this season and is looking to buy young players who will take part in the future of the club. Mohamed Salah and Antonio Rudiger were two players that left.

Manolas joined AS Roma in the summer of 2014. He participated in 144 games in all competitions and managed to score four goals.
