CAIRO – 8 October 2017: A number of national team players are receiving the support of their European teams, including Hegazy and Sobhi.

The Egyptian national team has a date with history on Sunday evening, as the team has a great chance to qualify to the World Cup after 27 years; only if they manage to achieve victory against Congo in the fifth round of the African qualifiers to the World Cup.

Ahmed Hegazy, the defender of the Premier League team West Bromwich Albion, received support from his team, as the official Twitter account of the team has posted a tweet wishing in it Egypt’s victory.

Also, PL team Stoke City FC’s Arabic Twitter account posted a similar tweet saying, “Ramadona and his team-mates in the Egyptian team are a step away from qualifying to the World Cup if Egypt wins against Congo,” and wished their young talented player luck.

Another European team, Racing club de Lens, the team that plays in the second division of the French league, tweeted their best wishes for Egypt too, and for their player Karim Hafez, the national team’s left back. Hafez might join the list of absentees because of an injury he suffered earlier.

The Gunners Arsenal FC wished El Nenny, and the Egyptian national team luck on their official Arabic Facebook page. Their post also said that Egypt is one step away from the World Cup.

The page posted yesterday a

of El Nenny talking about the game against Congo and how important the game is.
