CAIRO - 11 September 2017: Crystal Palace fired on Monday their Dutch manager Frank de Boer after the team lost their fourth game in the Premier League under De Boer’s charge.

“We would like to thank Frank for his dedication and hard work during his time at the Club, we wish Frank the very best of luck for the future,” Crystal Palace said in a statement.

Crystal Palace fired de Boer after only 77 days in charge; De Boer has had the shortest Premier League managerial tenure in terms of games.

De Boer continued his short-lived managerial personal record outside the Netherlands as he was fired from managing the Italian Internazionale team last season after 85 days.

De Boer had a great spell with Dutch team Ajax, where he won four Dutch League titles in a row.

De Boer failed to win any game in the Premier League. He lost against Huddersfield Town, Liverpool, Swansea City and Burnley. Crystal Palace conceded seven goals and failed to score any goal in their four games.
