17 August 2017:French midfielder Blaise Matuidi arrived on Wednesday to Torino to undergo medical tests to complete his move from Paris Saint Germain to Italian team Juventus.

“French international midfielder Blaise Matuidi undergoes his Juventus medical ahead of a proposed move from Paris Saint Germain,” a Juventus statement read.

Matuidi is expeced to sign a three-year deal with the Italian giants for €24 million ($28M) according to Telegraph.com.

The French international player joined Paris Saint Germain in 2011 from Saint Etienne. He won four French League titles, in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Matuidi played 34 games and scored six goals with Paris Saint Germain last season, when the club finished second in the league, according to WhoScored.com.

He left Paris Saint Germain after the coach, Unai Emery, prefereed the trio of Adrien Rabiot, Thiago Motta and Marco Verratti over the veteran Frenchman.

Matuidi participated with the French national team in the UEFA EURO 2016, when the France finished second, after Portugal. Matuidi hopes to be on the French squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
