CAIRO – 12 August 2017: Amr Warda is upset with the Portuguese press allegations against him. Warda’s agent, Mamdouh Eid, will sue the Portuguese magazine Record for publishing offensive news.

“ We will sue Record for publishing fake news,” Eid stated to filgoal.com.

Eid added, “It is inappropriate to speak about player’s privacy in that way, especially if he is an International player.”

Record magazine claimed on Saturday that the Portuguese club Feirense will end Warda’s contract only three days after signing him. They claimed he harassed two of his teammates’ wives.

Record mentioned on their report that, “Feirense players were upset with Warda because his behavior made the club board decide against allowing the players to training.”

Egyptian national team manager, Ihab Lehita told Egypt Today, “ We will investigate the incident with the player to find out if is true or not before taking any decision.”

Amr Warda participated with the national team in 2017 African Cup of Nations. He is among the 15 International players that make up the National team against Uganda in 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
