CAIRO – 3 August 2017 - On August 3, 1999, the English club Arsenal FC announced signing Thierry Henry, the French striker to start the history with the Gunners from the Italian side Juventus.

Henry was considered one of the best strikers in the history of Arsenal. He signed for Arsenal after his failure in Juventus.

On October 18, 2005, Henry became Arsenal’s top scorer of all time, breaking the former player Ian Wright’s record 185 goals, as he scored 228 goals in 370 apps with the Gunners.

In the Premier League, Henry has been the top scorer four times with Arsenal, in the seasons: 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006.

Henry opens his goal scoring sheet at the Emirates Stadium against Ajax on July 22, 2006. It is considered the first goal at the Emirates Stadium.

The French striker won 7 titles with Arsenal, Premier League 2 times, FA cup 3 times and the Community Shield 2 times.
