CAIRO – 28 July 2017- Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan renewed his contract with AS Roma on Thursday, now playing for Serie A club until 2021.

The official website of the Italian club AS Roma announced on Thursday that the 29-year-old the Belgium national team midfielder has signed on to stay with the team for four more years.

"I think I have demonstrated that this is what I always wanted…So I’m very happy, especially that the club and I can continue our adventure and move forward together," Nainggolan said according to Roma official website.

Nainggolan joined AS Roma in the winter transfer market of 2014 and has since scored 27 goals from his participation in 161 matches of all competitions.

The Belgian made 37 appearances in the 2016/2017 season and scored 11 goals with a shot accuracy of 38 percent. He also created 68 chances with 80 percent averaged pass accuracy, averaged a pass length of 18 meters and finished the season without committing any defensive errors, according to Squawka.
