CAIRO - 22 September 2022: Jean-Michel Cavalli, Niger national team manager, stated that his team's game plan will not be changed to stop Egypt's winger, Mohamed Salah, when they face Egypt in a friendly match on Friday.

"Salah is an outstanding player but we will not use a special strategy to stop him. We will use our usual game plan and we will not change our tactics." Cavalli stated.

Cavalli also praised Egypt national team striker, Mostafa Mohamed, who has been flourishing in the French League with Nantes this season.

Cavalli added "Mostafa is a fantastic striker. I have been watching him since he joined Nantes and I am happy with his performance there. I have a good connection with the club and my son plays in their youth rankings so I watch their matches."

The Pharaohs will start a new journey under their new Portuguese manager Rui Vitoria at Alexandria stadium against Niger before facing Liberia four days later.

Cavalli returns to Alexandria Stadium after almost five years since his departure after a short spell with the city giants, Al Ittihad.
