Al-Ahly defeat Ittihad of Alexandria 3-0 in the Egyptian league

CAIRO, 8 August 2022:  Al-Ahly team achieved a deserved victory over Al-Ittihad of Alexandria by 3-0 in the match that brought them together this on Sunday, at Borg Al Arab Stadium, in the 29th round of the Egyptian League competition.

With this result, the Reds raised their score to 59 points in third place, while Al-Ittihad of Alexandria stopped at 29 points in thirteenth place.

 Al-Ahly returned to the path of victories in the first appearance of young players after the decision of club board of directors to complete the league with young players.

Al-Ahly’s goals came through Ahmed Sayed Ghareeb who scored the first & third goals while Ziyad Tarek scored the second goal.

Mahmoud El-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly’s board of directors, announced through the club official channel that team shall continue the season with young players. Recent draws for Al Ahly in the Egyptian league made the club out of title race with Zamalek & Pyramids.
