CAIRO - 2 July 2022: Egypt men's basketball team faces Kenya on Saturday night in Matchday 5 of the 2023 FIBA World Cup qualifiers at Borg El Arab hall in Alexandria. 

 

The Pharaohs had a dream start to the final phase of the group stage of the qualifiers with a big win over Senegal on Friday after a stunning performance. 

 

Ehab Amin was the best player on the court with 22 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals, leading the Pharaohs to victory and he deserved a special applause from the fans after the game. 

 

The Egyptian fans packed the arena and guided their players to an important win with their passionate support and they are expected to pack the arena tonight, which could see the Egyptians booking their place in the final stage of the qualifiers. 

 

Egypt plays in Group D of the qualifiers alongside DR Congo, Senegal and Kenya. 

 

The Pharaohs will play their final game in the group on Sunday against DR Congo, who will face Senegal on Saturday.
