CAIRO - 1 July 2022: The story of Mohamed Salah with Liverpool will continue for three more years after the club announced on Friday that they have reached an agreement to renew the player's contract till 2025.

Reports suggest that the Egyptian star will earn £350,000 per week, making him the top earner in the history of the English giants.

"I feel great and [I am] excited to win trophies with the club. It's a happy day for everyone. It takes a little bit of time, I think, to renew, but now everything is done so we just need to focus on what's next." Salah said on Friday.

Today's announcement puts an end to the speculations over the future of the Egyptian player, who has scored 156 goals in 254 appearances so far in his career with the Reds.

The Egyptian winger added "I think we have won good trophies together. And I think we can do it again. We won so many things together. We had some disappointments, but this is football. I have enjoyed my football here at the club and hopefully I will continue to enjoy it and win many trophies."

Since his arrival in 2017 from AS Roma, the winger established himself as one of the key players in the Premier League, having led Liverpool to their first English Premier League title in 30 years.
