Al Ahly's delegation flies to Morocco to face Wydad Casablanca in CAF CL Final

CAIRO, 25 May 2022: Al-Ahly football team’s delegation will fly on a private plane to Morocco at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, 25 May 2022,  in order to face Moroccan Wydad in the final of the African Champions League on May 30 at the Mohammed V stadium.
 
The delegation is headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president, and some of board members travelled with the team in order to support the red devils in this important match.
 
On the other hand, Yasser Othman, Egypt’s ambassador to Morocco, explained that the arrangements for reception, security, accommodation and training stadiums have been completed with the Moroccan side.
 
“Al-Ahly will arrive on Wednesday to Morocco, and Mr. Abdel Hafeez arrived on Tuesday, a day before the arrival of the delegation, and he arranged everything with the Egyptian embassy." He said to ONSport Channel.
 
He stressed: "We will facilitate everything for Al-Ahly, and the Moroccan side has expressed its readiness to provide all the needs of the Al-Ahly delegation."
 
And added: "We have started meetings with the Moroccan side regarding visas and facilities for entering the Egyptian public and securing it while they are in Morocco. The first part is specific to determining the number of tickets for Al-Ahly fans."
 
He added: "The embassy will be waiting for the fans and providing them with the means of comfort until they return safely to the homeland."
