Diving and synchronized swimming teams participate in FINA World Championships

CAIRO –13 July 2017: The diving and synchronized swimming teams will participate in the swimming international federation FINA World Championships, which begins Friday, July 14 in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

Egypt will participate in the 17th edition of the tournament with 17 athletes. The diving team is represented by 6 players: Yousef Ezzat, Ammar Hassan, Mohab Mohaimen, Maha Abdel Salam, Maha Khaled and Habiba Ashraf, while the synchronized swimming team includes 11 players: Laila Abdel Fattah, Samia Hagras, Aya Helmy, Laila Mohsen, Nada Nabil, Marwa Othman, Farida Radwan, Nihal Saafan, Nour Shamalah, Dara Tamer and Faten Tharwat, Super Kora reported.

Dara Tamer the synchronized swimming player will be the first Egyptian to play in the tournament in the individual competitions.

The same player will play as well with Samia Hagras in the doubles competitions after that.

Meanwhile, diving players begin with Maha Abdel Salam and Mohab Mohaimen in the 1-meter competition from a moving ladder.
