CAIRO-7 January 2022: FIFA unveiled on Friday the nominees for the The Best FIFA Men's Player award for 2021. 
 
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, PSG's Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski are the three finalists for the award. 
 
Salah was nominated for the award in 2018 and he came third behind Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo. 
 
Salah has been a standout player for the Reds last year and he is the player with most goal contributions in the Premier League in 2021 with 24 goals and 11 assists.
 
The Egyptian is currently the top goalscorer (16) and the top assist provider (9) in the Premier League this season and he is considered by many the best player in the world. 
 
The winner will be announced during the Best FIFA Football Award ceremony, which will be held on 17 January in Zurich.
