CAIRO-23 December 2021: Morocco head coach Vahid Halilhodžić announced his 25-man squad that will represent the country in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. 
 
Chelsea's Hakim Ziyech, Al Ahly's Badr Benoun and Zamalek's Achraf Bencharki were axed from the squad while Barcelona's talented winger Abdessamad Ezzalzouli made the squad.
 
The Moroccan squad aims to bring the title back to Rabat for the second time in history as the Atlas Lions managed to lift the trophy only in 1976 in Ethiopia.

Morocco plays in Group C  alongside Comoros, Ghana and Gabon.
