CAIRO-16 December 2021: Carlos Queiroz, Egypt national team head coach, did not have much to say after losing to Tunisia in the FIFA Arab Cup semi-finals on Wednesday, revealing that luck was not on the side of the Pharaohs.

When everything was set for an extra time, Tunisia won a late free kick, seconds before the final whistle but Amr El Soulia's efforts to clear the ball found top-right corner, announcing a victory for Tunisia.

"The team with more luck won the game, congratulations to Tunisia. They have more luck than us." The Portuguese coach said after the game.

Egypt had several clear chances to have the lead but all the efforts of Mostafa Fathy, Marwan Hamdy and Mohamed Sherif did not find the target.

Queiroz added "I am not saying that they did not deserve to reach the final but it was clear that we had our chances and we deserved to score."

Egypt will face the hosts, Qatar, on Saturday for the bronze medal after the Algerians achieved a last-second win over Qatar to reach the final.
