Al Ahly to face Raja in CAF Super Cup on 22 December

CAIRO-9 December 2021: The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Wednesday that the 2021 CAF Super Cup will be held on 22 December in Doha. 
 
Egypt's Al Ahly, the 2021 CAF Champions League champions, will face Morocco's Raja Casablanca, the 2021 CAF Confederation Cup champions, in the game, which will be held in Qatar for the fourth straight season. 
 
The Egyptian champions have won a record 7 CAF Super Cup titles and they are the defending champions of the competition, having won the game last season against Morocco's RS Berkane. 
 
"The venue and kick-off time will be announced in due course." CAF statement said. 
 
The club's president Mahmoud El Khatib will lead Al Ahly's delegation that will head to Doha, five days before the game to hold a mini camp to prepare for the game, according to Al Ahly official website. 
 
Al Ahly's delegation will join Al Ahly's nine international players, who are participating with their national teams in the FIFA Arab Cup, which is being held in Qatar.
