CAIRO-12 November 2021: Egypt national team winger Mohamed Salah will be leading Egypt’s attacking line against Angola in the mouth-watering match at 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Salah will lead Egypt’s attacks from the left flank while Mohamed Sherif, who returned to the national team after being ruled out of the squad in October’s camp, leads the attacks from the right flank.

Egypt national team coach, Carlos Queiroz, decided to start with Abdallah El Said as a playmaker to feed the frontline with key passes.

Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Mostafa Fathy are on the bench and they are ready to help the team whenever Queiroz needs them.

Egypt’s Starting Line-up consists of: Mohamed El Shenawy, Akram Tawfik, Ayman Ashraf, Ahmed Hegazi, Ahmed Fattouh, Mohamed Elneny, Amr El Soulia, Abdallah El Said, Mohamed Sherif, Mostafa Mohamed and Mohamed Salah.

Egypt tops the group with 10 points, three points ahead of the second-placed, Gabon, who defeated Libya 1-0 at home earlier on Friday.

Gabon’s victory edges the Pharaohs closer from the final round as they need to avoid a defeat in Angola to book their ticket to the final round.
