CAIRO-4 November 2021: Zamalek head coach, Patrice Crateron, announced on Wednesday the team’s squad for the Cairo derby match against Al Ahly on Friday.

The list saw the return of the team’s play maker, Youssef Obama, who missed the team’s win over El Gaish for injury.

Zamalek are sharing the top of the table with Al Ahly and Pyrmids and they hope to achieve the three points and take an advantage over their arch-rivals, Al Ahly, in their journey to defend the league title.

The White Knights will miss their captain, Mahmoud Abdelrazek Shikabala, who has been banned from playing by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) due to his behavior during the team’s celebrations of the league title last season.

The last three goals scored by the White Knights in the derby were scored by two players, Ferjani Sassi, who left Zamalek last summer, and Shikabala, who misses the game for suspension.

Goalkeepers:
Mohamed Abo Gabal – Mohamed Awwad
