CAIRO-29 October 2021: Liverpool full back Andy Robertson believes that Mohamed Salah is the best player in the world right now, focusing on one of his qualities on the pitch that does not receive much praise.

“The thing that goes under-rated with Mo is his work-rate - the way he helps out Trent (Alexander-Arnold), the way he helps out his defence behind him and everything like that.” Robertson said.

The Egyptian has been incredible since the start of the season, having scored 15 goals in 12 appearances for the Reds in all competitions.

Robertson added “I think at this moment he's the world's best and he'll want to continue that. He won't want it for nine or 10 games, which he's done so far, he'll want to do it for a whole season like he's done previously and hopefully he can do it, because it gives us the best chance of scoring goals and winning trophies."

Salah is now leading the charts of the top scorers list in the Premier League with 10 goals, including a hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Manchester United.

Salah and Robertson have joined the Reds in 2017 summer and since then they have been key players in the club’s success.
