CAIRO-17 September 2021: Former Liverpool Spanish winger Luis Garcia was full of praise for the club's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah after his strong start to the new season.

Garcia represented Liverpool between 2004 and 2007 and he used to occupy the right flank for the Reds, which is Salah's favourite position in the attacking line.

"He is becoming more and more important. He knows where he has to be. I think we can see a different Salah at the moment." The Spaniard said.

The Egyptian has been instrumental with the Reds this season, having scored in four of his five appearances.

Garcia believes that Salah has changed his game to be more prolific, saying "You don't see him making those 50-yard runs, beating players and putting it in the top corner. Now it is moving more around the box; he knows his combinations so he is ready. That is why is numbers are getting better and better."

Salah netted his 100th Premier League goal last week against Leeds United and he is four goals away from dethroning Didier Drogba as the  African player with most goals in the Premier League
